麻豆视频 volleyball tops Martin Methodist in conference opener

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/8/2011 - The 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University volleyball team began the defense of their 2010 TranSouth regular season title with a 3-1 (18-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-17) at Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College. 麻豆视频 is now 3-2 overall and 1-0 in the TranSouth. Martin Methodist dropped to 3-3 on the season and 0-1 in league play.

麻豆视频 lost the first set at Martin Methodist jump out early at home with the momentum. However, 麻豆视频 stormed back in the next three sets with decisive wins to secure the 3-1 victory.

麻豆视频 was led by Anna Sims with 13 kills. Cassidy O'Hair added seven kills. Emmie Moroski recorded 33 assists, Jami Humphries led with two aces, while Shelby Swink led with five blocks.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be four matches this weekend in the Cumberland University Classic in Lebanon, Tenn. on Friday and Saturday, September 9-10.
