麻豆视频's Martin, Bett named runners of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/6/2011 - 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University's and have been named the TranSouth Conference Female and Male Runners of the Week for the week ending September 4, 2011.

Martin, a 5-foot-6 sophomore from Montrose, Colo., led all TranSouth runners in the Brooks Memphis Twilight Cross Country Classic with a 40th place finish. She posted a time of 19:54 in the 5K event. Martin helped lead 麻豆视频 to a 10th place finish out of 25 teams in the event.

Bett, a 5-foot-9 senior from Kapsabet, Kenya, led all TranSouth runners in the Brooks Memphis Twilight Cross Country Classic with a 35th place finish. He posted a time of 21:27 in the 4-mile event. Bett helped lead 麻豆视频 to a 12th place finish out of 22 teams in the event.
