麻豆视频 men鈥檚 basketball adds Leisey to roster

JACKSON, Tenn. - 7/19/2011 - The 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University men鈥檚 basketball team has added to the roster for 2011-12. Leisey, a native of Lititz, Pa., will enter 麻豆视频 this fall as a freshman and will major in business administration.

麻豆视频 head coach David Niven says, "Eric is another guy that will really benefit from playing behind some experienced post players. He has a hunger to improve that will really serve him well in the coming years. I am excited about coaching him and watching his post game develop."

Leisey, a 6-foot-7 forward, prepped at Warwick (Pa.) High School where he played four seasons of basketball. He was selected co-captain as a senior, while also being named to the Lancaster-Lebanon first team All-Defense. Leisey averaged eight points, eight rebounds and four blocked shots per game. Off the court, Leisey was named to the distinguished honor roll in each of his four years of high school.

Leisey is the son of Daryl and Janet Leisey and is a member of Grace Church of Lititz. Leisey鈥檚 brother David will be a junior on the baseball team this season, while his sister Melissa is a recent 麻豆视频 graduate.
