麻豆视频鈥檚 Roof named pitcher of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/29/2011 - of 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University has been named the TranSouth Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 27, 2011.

Roof, 6-foot-5 sophomore right-hander from Paducah, Ky., tossed a five-inning complete game shutout against the NAIA's No. 6 ranked Embry-Riddle (Fla.) on a neutral field in Lebanon, Tenn. Embry-Riddle, now 29-7 on the season, managed just four hits in the game as Roof tossed the shutout, striking out one batter. Roof improved to 4-0 on the season in five starts and has a 2.96 ERA.

麻豆视频 is ranked No. 16 in the NAIA with a 24-5 overall record, while leading the TranSouth with an 8-1 league mark.
