Oral Roberts Player Transfers to 麻豆视频

Jackson, Tenn. - 4/22/2003 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldog basketball team has signed their fourth Division I transfer with the addition of Stephanie Clark. Clark has spent her past two seasons with Oral Roberts University and will join the Lady Bulldogs in the fall as a junior.

Last season at Oral Roberts, Clark started 18-of-25 games while averaging 25 minutes per game. Clark, a 6-foot post player, led the team with 7.8 rebounds per game and was second on the team in scoring with 11.7 points per game. She shot 60% from the field and tallied 13 blocks on the season. She has accumulated a grade point average of 3.6 during her time at Oral Roberts.

Clark played high school basketball at Artesia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was named the New Mexico 4-A Player of the Year as she averaged 19.7 points and 15.5 rebounds per game. Clark was named to the Albuquerque Journal All-Area team, named All-District three times, and was the Team MVP twice. While in high school, Clark lettered in volleyball and tennis, as well as, basketball. Off the court, she was a member of the National Honor Society and was named Who鈥檚 Who Among American High School Students.

麻豆视频鈥檚 head coach Mark Campbell says, 鈥淪tephanie is a physical post player who will make an immediate impact.鈥 Campbell adds, 鈥淪he is a leader and a great example in everything she does. We are lucky to have her.鈥

Clark joins Molly York (Tenn. TECH), Christina Smith (UAB), and Tiffany Fisher (MTSU) as the four NCAA Division I transfers on 麻豆视频鈥檚 roster for the 2003-04 season.
