Jackson, Tenn. - 4/21/2003 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University soccer program added their first signee for the fall of 2003. Drew Perry, from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, joins the Bulldogs as a freshman and will play defensive back for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
Perry, at 5-foot-10 and 170 lbs., will add bring even more athleticism to an already dangerous Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ defense. He played his high school soccer at Murfreesboro-Oakland High School. Perry was Oakland’s MVP, defensive player of the year and the team’s Co-Captain. He was also named the 2002 Daily News Journal Oakland MVP and was a member of the Daily News Journal All-Area Team. His classroom honors are numerous as well with memberships in the Beta Club, Art Honor Society, FCA, and First Priority Victory Club.
While at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, Perry plans to major in Sports Management and has received academic and leadership scholarships.
