No. 16 麻豆视频 baseball sweeps Blue Mountain in conference opener

NEW ALBANY, Miss. - 3/3/2011 - The No.1 6 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University men鈥檚 baseball team posted a double-header sweep over Blue Mountain (Miss.) College in the TranSouth Conference opener. 麻豆视频 edged the Toppers 3-2 in the first game, while cruising 13-0 in the second game.

麻豆视频 improved to 14-2 on the season and 2-0 in the TranSouth. Blue Mountain, in their program鈥檚 first season of competition, dropped to 7-10 overall and 0-2 in league play.

No stats were available for the games on Thursday.

The same two teams will play a third and final game of the series on Friday afternoon at noon at the New Albany Sportsplex.
