麻豆视频鈥檚 Chan named TranSouth Player of the Week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/28/2011 - of 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University is the TranSouth Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 27, 2011. This is the third time Chan has been selected this season.

Chan, a 6-foot-4 senior center from Arange City, Sudan, averaged 23.5 points, 14 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game on the week. Chan also shot 20-35 (57%) from the field. The first of two double-doubles on the week was a 20 point and 18 rebound effort in 麻豆视频鈥檚 65-44 win over Lyon (Ark.). The TranSouth All-Conference performer added a 27 point and 10 rebound game in a 71-40 win over Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.).

麻豆视频 is now 28-1 and ranked No. 1 in the latest NAIA Women's Basketball Division 1 poll. With their two wins this week, 麻豆视频 has now won five consecutive TranSouth regular season women's basketball title.
