Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Chan passes 1,000 career rebounds

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/19/2011 - Sarah Chan of the No. 1 ranked Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University women’s basketball team passed the 1,000 career rebound mark in the win over Mid-Continent (Ky.) University on February 17, 2011.

Chan joins the very prestigious club of having 1,500 career points and 1,000 career rebounds.

Chan now has 1,003 rebounds for her career for a 7.5 average per game. She is currently having her best rebounding season with 9.6 per game.

In her career, Chan has 1,695 career points. She is having her best season as a Lady Bulldog with 19.9 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per game. For her career, she is averaging 12.7 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Last season, Chan was an NAIA All-American and was named the MVP of the national tournament. During her career, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has won two NAIA National titles and has a four-year record of 133-5.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is 25-1 on the season and leads the TranSouth with a 12-1 record. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has been ranked No. 1 in the NAIA for 45 straight polls.
