Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ men’s soccer signs ECS’s Crockarell

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/9/2011 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University men’s soccer team has signed of Collierville, Tenn. to continue his soccer career as a Bulldog. Crockarell will join Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ this fall as a freshman and will major in accounting.

Crockarell, a 5-foot-6 midfielder and defender, prepped at Evangelical Christian School in Cordova where he played soccer and ran track. Crockarell helped lead his high school team to the 2010 Tennessee 2-A state title. Crockarell was a four-year starter and was Team Captain for three seasons. He was named all-district, all-state and Best of Preps Metro as a junior. Crockarell was named all-region as a sophomore.

Crockarell also played nine seasons of club soccer for the Tennessee Rush Nike '93. His club team was a five-time Tennessee state champion. Crockarell scored the game-winning goal for his club team in the 2007 state championship.

Off the field, Crockarell was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has been on two overseas mission trips.

Crockarell is the son of John and Jodie Crockarell of Collierville and is a member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
