Jackson, Tenn. - 4/15/2003 - , a standout freshman from Hardin County High School, put together a career game as he tied three Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ records in Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's 15-4 win over Lambuth. Ironically, Jackson performed this feet in front of a hometown crowd in Savannah at the Razz Classic on Monday. In the game, Jackson hit three homeruns in a 4-for-5 night while driving in seven runs for the Bulldogs. Included was his second grand slam of the season.
His three homeruns tied a Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ record last done by USJ standout Roger Cook one year and one day earlier. Jackson also tied the record with seven RBI in one game last done in 1983 by Barry Bishop. His grand slam was his second of the season. The other came March 18 in a 9-8 win over Campbellsville. He tied Bishop and Brian Pace as the only three Bulldogs to hit two grand slams in a season.
Jackson is currently second for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ with a .392 average. He also has nine doubles, six homeruns, and 39 RBI. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is 29-16 overall and 9-9 in the TranSouth.
