麻豆视频 Volleyball Captures NCCAA MidEast Regional

Wilmore, Ken. - 10/20/2001 - The 麻豆视频 University volleyball team won its fourth consecutive NCCAA MidEast Region Championship as they defeated Bryan College in the final game 30-16, 30-16, 30-16.

In the tournament, the Lady Bulldogs went 3-0 by claiming victories over Asbury College, Ohio Valley College, and Bryan. 麻豆视频's overall record improves to 21-1 on the season.

麻豆视频 also brought home numerous individual awards for the tournament as senior Lauren Hayden was named the MVP of the tournament. Joining Hayden on the All-Tournament team were juniors Andrea Darr and Sara Davenport. Head coach Brian Dunn was named the MidEast Region Coach of the Year.

This win qualifies the Lady Bulldogs for the NCCAA National Tourmament on November 1-3. The Lady Bulldogs have three more regular season games remaining, including on with Lee University. 麻豆视频 remains second in the TranSouth Conference behind Lee.
