麻豆视频 men up to No. 16, women No. 1 for 41st straight poll

JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/18/2011 - The 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams continued their presence in the latest NAIA basketball rankings. The 麻豆视频 men jumped one spot to No. 16, while the women kept their strong hold on the No. 1 ranking.

麻豆视频鈥檚 men posted a 2-0 week last week, including a win over Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), who is receiving votes in the poll. 麻豆视频 has now won three straight games and 12 of their past 13. The only loss for 麻豆视频 in that stretch was to No. 6 Martin Methodist (Tenn.). The latest win came on Monday night 92-77 at Mid-Continent (Ky.). 麻豆视频 scored 90 points for the second straight game and continued their hot shooting from the field and behind the arc. 麻豆视频 has made at least 10 three pointers in five straight games. Over the past two games, 麻豆视频 has shot over 50 percent from the field.

On the women鈥檚 side, 麻豆视频 is ranked No. 1 for the 41st straight ranking dating back to the preseason poll of 2007. 麻豆视频 is 18-0 on the season and has won 23 straight games dating back to last season. 麻豆视频 has won 56 straight TranSouth regular season games and 40 straight regular season games overall.
