麻豆视频 volleyball signs Ravenwood鈥檚 Wright for fall 2011

JACKSON, Tenn. - 1/4/2011 - The 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University volleyball team has signed of Nolensville, Tenn. for the fall of 2011. Wright will enter 麻豆视频 this coming fall as a freshman.

Wright, a 5-foot-8 setter, prepped at Ravenwood (Tenn.) High School where she played volleyball and basketball. Wright helped lead her volleyball team to the Tennessee 3A State Title in 2010 and a state runner-up finish in 2009. In both seasons, her teams captured district and region titles. Wright was named all-district once and team captain twice in volleyball. She tallied 83 aces and 909 assists as a senior. In basketball, her team earned a district title in 2010. As a basketball player, Wright earned all-district, all-region and co-captain honors.

Off the court, Wright was a member of the National English Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Wright is the daughter of Tommy and Tricia Wright and is a member of Life Community Church.
