麻豆视频鈥檚 women No. 1, men drop to No. 17 in latest poll

JACKSON, Tenn. - 12/7/2010 - The 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University basketball teams are both ranked in the latest NAIA Rankings. 麻豆视频鈥檚 women hold the No. 1 spot for the 38th straight ranking, dating back to the preseason poll in 2007. The 麻豆视频 men drop from No. 10 to No. 17 in this poll.

The Lady Bulldogs are 10-0 on the season. They have a 6-0 record over ranked teams, including a 4-0 record versus teams that were in the preseason top-10. 麻豆视频 has boasted the previous two TranSouth Players of the Week in Kayla Hudson and Sarah Chan. 麻豆视频 has three games left this semester, at home on Thursday, December 9 versus No. 21 Shorter (Ga.), at No. 4 Campbellsville (Ky.) on Saturday, and at home Wednesday, December 15 versus No. 24 Evangel (Mo.).

麻豆视频鈥檚 men have won five straight games to push their record to 8-3. After a 3-3 start to the season, 麻豆视频 has improved play as they attempt to replace five players lost from last season鈥檚 teams. 麻豆视频鈥檚 Antoine Hall was named the TranSouth Player of the Week for this past week. 麻豆视频 has two games left this semester, both in the Freed-Hardeman Classic on Friday and Saturday, December 10-11. 麻豆视频 plays Faulkner (Ala.) on Friday and Victory (Tenn.) on Saturday.
