JACKSON, Tenn. - 12/6/2010 - Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University senior has been named a Daktronics-NAIA Volleyball Scholar Athlete. This honor is for student athletes that are at least a junior with at least a 3.5 GPA and have been at their current institution for at least one full academic year.
Duling, a 5-foot-7 libero from Pasadena, Calif., helped Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ capture the TranSouth Regular Season Title this season. Duling recorded 633 digs on the season with a 28 service aces, team highs in both categories. Duling also had 30 kills and 18 assists on the season. She adds this honor to her two TranSouth All-Conference and two TranSouth Scholar Athlete awards.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ finished with a 24-9 record overall and a 13-1 league mark. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ won the regular season, but posted a third place finish in the conference tournament.
