Â鶹ÊÓƵ men’s basketball favored in TranSouth, McNeil, Banhoro honored

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/25/2010 - The Â鶹ÊÓƵ (Tenn.) University men’s basketball team has been selected by the coaches to repeat as conference champions in the TranSouth Conference Preseason Rankings. In addition, seniors Stan McNeil and Roland Banhoro have been selected to the preseason all-conference team.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Bulldogs are coming off their seventh TranSouth title in the 14-year history of the league, including each of the past two titles. However, the Bulldogs graduated five players, three of which started while all five played significant time.

McNeil, a returning second team all-conference performer, along with Banhoro will help lead a group of seven returners and six newcomers. Samuel Danache returns as a member of the TranSouth All-Freshman team last year. Antoine Joseph also returns as a player with starting experience for the Â鶹ÊÓƵ team.
