Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s Landham named TranSouth defensive player of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/28/2010 - Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University’s James Landham has been named the TranSouth Conference defensive player of the week for the week ending September 26, 2010. For Landham, this is the third straight week to earn this honor.

Landham, a 6-foot-2 junior goalkeeper from Hendersonville, Tenn., continued his hot streak in front of the net for the Bulldogs this week with a 3-0 shutout of Central Baptist College. The junior had three saves in 90 minutes of action and recorded his fifth shutout of the year. Landham is an undefeated 6-0 in goal and has won the conference’s Defensive Player of the Week honor for the third consecutive time.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is a perfect 7-0 this season, including a 1-0 record in league play.
