麻豆视频鈥檚 Martin named TranSouth women's runner of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/20/2010 - 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University freshman earned the TranSouth Conference women's cross country runner of the week for the week ending September 19, 2010.

Martin, a 5-foot-6 freshman from Montrose, Colo., posted a team and conference high 15th place finish in the Commodore Classic hosted by Vanderbilt (Tenn.) University. Martin was the highest NAIA finisher in the race and finished above numerous NCAA individuals. Martin ran the 5K event in 18:56, which was just 55 seconds off the individual champion. She helped lead 麻豆视频 to an eighth place finish in the 16-team field.

All five TranSouth Conference teams participated in the Commodore Classic this past weekend.
