Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ women’s soccer drops first match of season

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - 9/11/2010 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University women’s soccer team dropped their first match of the season in a 1-0 OT loss at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ dropped to 2-1 overall, while UAH improved to 2-1.

Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ recorded four shots on goal but could not get anything in to the net. UAH goalie Lauren Kelly recorded four saves in the match. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ goalie Sara White was just as impressive in her play as she record three saves against the four shots on goal she faced. Only the final shot by Khadijah Jannah of UAH found the back of the net for the game winner. Cady Reisman recorded the assist. UAH recorded 17 total shots, to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s eight total shots.

Up next for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be a home match against Webber International (Fla.) University at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14.
