麻豆视频 men鈥檚 soccer goes to 2-0 with home victory

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/3/2010 - The 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University men鈥檚 soccer team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 2-0 victory over Emmanuel (Ga.) College on Friday night. Emanuel dropped to 1-3 on the season.

麻豆视频 scored their first goal in the 27th minute on a fast break goal by Dejan Kostic with double assists going to Diego Santos and Sutton Shults. 麻豆视频鈥檚 defense did the rest, holding Emmanuel to just five total shots in the match. 麻豆视频 led 1-0 at the half and added an insurance goal in the 85th minute on a penalty kick from Allyson Mohl.

James Landham recorded three saves in his shutout effort in goal. His counterpart, Anel Lilic had four saves and two goals allowed in his 90 minutes.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be a home match versus Delta State (Miss.) University on Saturday, Sept. 4 at 7:00 p.m. These matches are a part of the 麻豆视频 University Classic.
