JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/17/2010 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University women’s soccer program has signed of Tullahoma, Tenn. to the 2010 roster. Zidan will enter Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ this fall as a freshman and will major in physical education.
Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ head coach Brandon Boylan says, “Ashley is an attack minded player and we are excited she has chosen Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. We look forward to her development over the next four years. Ashley is a great fit for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and our soccer program.“
Zidan, a 5-foot-6 forward, prepped at Tallahoma (Tenn.) High School where she played four years of soccer. She was named All-State and team captain as a senior. Zidon added the Best Offensive Player award as a freshman. Zidon played club soccer for the Camp Forrest '92 team. She helped lead that team to a state championship in 2007 and a state runner-up finish in 2008.
Off the field, Zidon was the FCA president, member of the National Honor Society and the National English Honor Society.
Zidon is the daughter of Jim and Lori Zidan of Tullahoma and is a member of Christ Community Church.
