KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 3/23/2010 - Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ (Tenn.) University forward earned his second All-American honor as he was named a 2010 NAIA second team All-American. Truvillion was a third team All-American selection last season.
Truvillion, a 6-foot-8 senior from Lansing, Mich., helped the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Bulldogs to back-to-back TranSouth regular season and tournament titles. He is a two-time TranSouth first team all-conference player, as well as, being named the 2010 TranSouth Preseason Player of the Year. Truvillion averaged 18.3 points and 9.3 rebounds this season. In Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµâ€™s final game of the season, a loss in the national tournament, Truvillion scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. This was his 16th double-double on the season and 26th double-double of his Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ career. It was also the 28th time he reached at least 20 points in a game over this two years at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. He reached the 1,000 point club in just 54 games with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.
The Bulldogs finished with a 26-8 overall record and a 14-2 league mark. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ was ranked No. 10 in the final NAIA poll.
