麻豆视频's Hayes named TranSouth softball co-player of the week

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/1/2010 - 麻豆视频 (Tenn.) University junior from Brighton, Tenn. has been named the TranSouth Conference softball co-player of the week for the week ending March 1, 2010.

Hayes, 5-foot-9 junior first baseman, helped 麻豆视频 to a 4-0 week, including two wins over NAIA No. 25 McKendree (Ill.) University. Hayes was 6-for-13 at the plate batting, .462 and slugging 1.077. She had four extra base hits including two home runs and two doubles. Hayes scored five times for the Lady Bulldogs and picked up six RBI. 麻豆视频 is receiving votes in the NAIA preseason poll and are 8-2 on the season wit a current five-game winning streak.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be a double-header on Tuesday at home versus Bethel (Tenn.) University at 3:00 p.m.
