Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ volleyball signs transfer setter from California

JACKSON, Tenn. - 2/8/2010 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University volleyball team has signed junior college transfer . Moroski enters Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ this semester and will begin playing for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ in the fall of 2010.

Moroski, a 5-foot-9 setter from Davis, Calif., transfers to Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ from Sacramento (Calif.) City College. While at Sacramento City, she helped lead her team to two fifth place finishes in the California Community College Activity Association (CCCAA) State Tournament and led her team to an undefeated conference championship as a sophomore. Moroski was a two-time first team all-conference player and also made the All Northern-California Team. In her sophomore year at Sacramento City, she tallied 1,044 assists at 10.76 assists per set, 35 aces and 243 digs. Her 10.76 assists per set ranked her fourth in the CCCAA. During her freshman year she had 766 assists at 8.33 assists per set, which also ranked her thirteenth in the CCCAA.

Moroski prepped at Davis (Calif.) Senior High School where she played volleyball and ran track and field. She led her volleyball team in back-to-back league championship seasons and sectional runner-up finishes. Moroski was a two time all-league player and was named the Delta Valley League MVP her senior year.

Moroski is the daughter of Michael and Cathie Moroski of Davis, California.
