Tonight's Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Basketball Games Still On

Jackson, Tenn. - 1/16/2003 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University basketball games tonight versus Berry College are going to be played as scheduled. The decision was made this morning to play. Berry College, from Rome, Georgia, had already made the trip to Jackson for the games and will be travelling to Lyon College in Arkansas on Saturday.

The No. 2 ranked Lady Bulldogs will resume conferece play at 5:00 p.m. against an up and coming Berry College team that is ranked No. 30 in the latest polls. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is 15-1 overall and 2-0 in coference play. Berry College comes in at 13-4 overall and 1-1 in the TranSouth.

The Bulldogs begin conference play tonight at 7:00 p.m. as they will host Berry in the conference opener for both teams. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ 9-5 overall and is ranked 30th in the latest polls. This is the first time since the 2000-01 season that the Bulldogs have been out of the Top 25 for consecutive weeks. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ looks to successfull defend their 2002 TranSouth Conferece championship and it all starts tonight versus a very tough 13-5 Berry College team.
