麻豆视频 women No. 1 for 32 straight rankings, men up to No. 14

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 2/1/2010 - The 麻豆视频 University men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams find themselves in the latest NAIA national rankings again this week. The 麻豆视频 women are at No. 1, a place they have held for 32 straight polls. The 麻豆视频 men moved up one spot to No. 14 this week.

麻豆视频鈥檚 women (21-1, 8-0) received all 12 first place votes for the third straight week. Their stretch of 32 straight No. 1 rankings spans three seasons, dating back to the preseason poll of the 2007-08 season. 麻豆视频 has won 14 straight games overall, 43 straight TranSouth regular season games and 54 straight home games. 麻豆视频鈥檚 next game is at No. 21 Bethel (Tenn.) on Thursday. 麻豆视频 topped Bethel 80-78 with a game-winning three-point play from this week鈥檚 TranSouth Player of the Week, Kaitlin Dudley.

The 麻豆视频 men (16-6, 7-1) moved up just one spot after a 101-60 win over then No. 20 Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.). With the win, 麻豆视频 holds first place in the TranSouth at the midway point of the season. 麻豆视频 and Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) are tied in the loss column with one loss each, but 麻豆视频 holds the head-to-head advantage. Up next for 麻豆视频 is a game at Bethel on Thursday, February 4 at 8:00 p.m.
