麻豆视频 women鈥檚 soccer places seven players among NAIA Scholar Athletes

DECATUR, Ala. - 12/7/2009 - The 麻豆视频 University women鈥檚 soccer team had seven players earn NAIA Scholar Athlete awards. Samantha Gase, Katie Johnson, Amber Lovelady, Alicia Bennett, Candice Blackard, Katelin Dirksen and Caitlin Zimmerman were each selected for the honor. ()

麻豆视频 finished the season with a 10-5-2 record and a 4-1-1 record in the TranSouth. They finished runner-up in the TranSouth regular season, earning a No. 2 seed in the tournament for the first time in the five-year history of the program.

NAIA Scholar Athletes are juniors and seniors that have been at 麻豆视频 for at least one year and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher.
