麻豆视频鈥檚 three individual qualifiers compete in NAIA cross country nationals

VANCOUVER, Wash. - 11/21/2009 - The 麻豆视频 University cross country teams qualified three runners in the . Alex Bett posted a 38th place finish, while Zach Covington earned a 180th finish in the men鈥檚 race. 麻豆视频鈥檚 Hanna Clardy finished 183rd in the women鈥檚 race.

Bett鈥檚 38th place finish was just eight spots away from earning an All-American spot (top 30 runners).

The men鈥檚 race featured 323 runners, while the women鈥檚 race had 330 runners.

Prior to this season, 麻豆视频鈥檚 women had been to three straight national championships as a team, while the men had a streak of two straight team appearances. 麻豆视频 has now had seven women鈥檚 individual qualifiers and 11 men鈥檚 individual qualifiers.

麻豆视频鈥檚 best individual finish was a fifth place finish by Henry Rop in 2007 when the men鈥檚 team finish eighth place. The best women鈥檚 team finish was 25th place in 2006 and individually in 2007 when Sylvia Bundotich finished 13th overall.
