麻豆视频 women鈥檚 soccer falls at No. 6 Martin Methodist

PULASKI, Tenn. - 10/20/2009 - The 麻豆视频 University women鈥檚 soccer team fell 4-0 at NAIA No. 6 Martin Methodist (Tenn.) College. 麻豆视频 dropped to 6-5-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the TranSouth. Martin Methodist improved to 10-2-2 on the season and a league best 4-0-1 record.

Martin Methodist jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first half. Their first goal came from Daniel Sofer in the fifth minute of play. In the twenty-second minute, Shannon Walter made the score 2-0 with a header. Then, in the final minute before halftime, Laura Graham scored on a rebound to set the RedHawk halftime lead to 3-0. A goal by Nicole O鈥橠onnell in the eighty-first minute set the final at 4-0. Mor Efraim, O鈥橠onnell and Sofer each record one assist in the match.

麻豆视频 was outshot by Martin Methodist 18-4, with 麻豆视频 not recording a shot on goal. 麻豆视频鈥檚 Laura Pla recorded seven saves in the match, with 麻豆视频 also recorded a team save.
