麻豆视频 men's soccer falls to Reinhardt 3-0

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/12/2009 - The 麻豆视频 University men's soccer team lost their fifth straight match in a 3-0 loss to Reinhardt (Ga.) College. 麻豆视频 is now 1-5 on the season, while Reinhardt improved to 2-2 overall.

In what proved to be the game-winning goal, Philip Overby of Reinhardt scored the first goal of the match in the 30th minute. That was the only goal of the first half. In the second half, an comeback hopes for 麻豆视频 were stopped with goals from Paul Wiesboeck and Mark Withers in the 55th and 74th minutes respectively.

麻豆视频 was out shot by Reinhardt 15-7 in the match. 麻豆视频's J. Landham record one save in the first half, while Mike Phelan of 麻豆视频 recorded one save in goal in the second half. Bobby Boender of Reinhardt posted the shutout with two saves.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will their first TranSouth match of the season when Lyon (Ark.) College come to 麻豆视频 on Saturday, September 19 for a 6:00 p.m. match.
