Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ women's soccer falls 2-0 to Georgetown

JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/11/2009 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University women's soccer team had their two-match winning streak snapped on Friday night as Georgetown (Ky.) College clipped Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ 2-0. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ dropped to 4-3 on the season, while Georgetown improved to 3-1.

Georgetown received goals from Ach and Pratt, while getting a shutout from goalie Brooke Terrell with six saves. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ out shot Georgetown 15-11, but could not score. Katie Moser recorded five saves for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.

Up next for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be the third of seven straight home matches, and first TranSouth match of the 2009 season, when Lyon (Ark.) College comes to town on Tuesday, September 22 at 5:00 p.m.
