JACKSON, Tenn. - 9/11/2009 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University men's soccer team lost their fourth match in a row in a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Campbellsville (Ky.) University. Each of the four losses by Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ have been by one goal. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ is now 1-4 on the season, while Campbellsville improved to 1-3 overall.
Ten minutes into the match, Campbellsville's Ramiro Sanchez put the Tigers up 1-0 with his goal. Then, in the 29th minute, Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ's Nick DeSio tied the match on his goal, assisted by Rafael Carvalho.
The score remained tied through the rest of the first half. Then just one minute into the second half, the game-winning goal was recorded by Campbellsville's Camilo Muller.
Campbellsville out shot Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ 11-10 in the match. J. Landham record five saves in the match for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. James Clements for the Tigers posted three saves.
Up next for Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ will be a 3:00 p.m. match on Saturday, September 12 versus Reinhardt (Ga.) as the continues.
