麻豆视频's Madeira named TranSouth volleyball co-player of the week

HENDERSON, Tenn. - 9/7/2009 - 麻豆视频 University's Marcela Madeira and Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University's Teegan Hunziker have been named TranSouth Conference co-players of the week for the week ending Sept. 5, 2009.

Madeira, a 5-foot-10 middle hitter from Vitoria, Brazil, helped lead the Lady Bulldogs to a 5-0 week by averaging 3.3 kills per game and 2.7 digs per game with an attack percentage of .538. She also had nine total blocks and four aces in five matches. Madeira had two matches with 15 kills, one of which came in a 3-0 win over #RV Loyola (La.) University. 麻豆视频, which is receiving votes in the national poll, is now 8-0 on the season.

This marks the second straight week that 麻豆视频 has had a player to receive this conference honor (Heather Lieberman, August 31).
