麻豆视频 volleyball goes to 4-0 with win over Mid-Continent

MAYFIELD, Ky. - 8/31/2009 - The 麻豆视频 University volleyball opened TranSouth Conference play with a 3-0 (25-5, 25-9, 25-13) win over Mid-Continent (Ky.) University. 麻豆视频 improved to 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in league play. Mid-Continent dropped to 0-1 on the season.

麻豆视频 was led by newcomers Marcela Madeira and Kelsey Duling with nine and six kills respectively. Katie Adams boasted 28 assists, while Duling led the way with four aces. Anna Sims led with five blocks for 麻豆视频.

This week's TranSouth Conference player of the week, Heather Lieberman of 麻豆视频, had five kills, two aces and five digs in the contest.

Up next for 麻豆视频 will be a trip to Jackson, Miss. for the Milsaps (Miss.) College Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
