麻豆视频 volleyball moves to 3-0 with win over Brescia

JACKSON, Tenn. - 8/29/2009 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldog volleyball team opened their season at home on Saturday with a win against Brescia (Ky.) University in three sets (26-24, 25-14, 25-10). 麻豆视频 improved to 3-0 on the season, while Brescia starts their season 0-1.

Heather Lieberman led the way with 10 kills and close behind was newcomer Marcela Madeira with eight kills. Lieberman and Marcela also posted five and three serving aces, respectively. Melissa Crawford of Brescia paced her team with seven kills.

麻豆视频 came out strong, but Bresica fought back and forced 麻豆视频 to a tight first set. In sets two and three, 麻豆视频 refocused their efforts and played mistake free volleyball to pull away with a 3-0 win.

Up next for the Lady Bulldogs is a TranSouth Conference match-up against Mid-Continent (Ky.) University in Mayfield, Kentucky on Monday August 31 at 7p.m.
