Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ women’s basketball gets transfer for 2009-10 season

JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/9/2009 - The defending NAIA National Champion Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Lady Bulldogs have added Kayla Bryant to the 2009-10 roster. Bryant transfers from Lambuth (Tenn.) University and will enter Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ this fall as a junior.

Bryant, a 5-foot-8 guard, played in 31 of Lambuth’s 35 games as a sophomore. She averaged nine points and three rebounds per game, while leading the team with 78 made three pointers. As a freshman, Bryant averaged 6.1 points per game, leading the team with 61 made three pointers.

As a member of the Shelbyville High School girl’s basketball team, Bryant helped lead her team to two state title game appearances, winning once.

Bryant is the daughter of Mark and Gloria Bryant.
