Knoxville runner set to join Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ men’s cross country

JACKSON, Tenn. - 6/3/2009 - Logan Smith will join the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University cross country team this fall as a freshman. Smith, the Knoxville, Tenn. native, will major in Pharmacy during his time at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ.

Smith, a 6-foot-5 160 lb. runner, prepped at South-Doyle High School. He was a two-sport athlete what at South-Doyle, running track and cross country for four years. During his senior season, Smith place 16 in the Knoxville city championship, while posting a 23rd place finish in the TSSAA region championship. While at South-Doyle, Smith was able to get to know and train with 2004 and 2008 Olympian Anthony Famiglietti.
