麻豆视频's Bett claims first in men's 5000 meter, others

JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/28/2009 - In 麻豆视频 University's first track and field event in over 35 years, the Bulldogs earned some hardware in the Rhodes (Tenn.) College Invitational. Alex Bett took first place in the men's 5000 meter run.

Bett posted a time of 15:30.45 to take first place. Zach Covington (16:23.06) and Seth Covington (16:30.55) took 13th and 16th place respectively in the men's 5000 meter run.

In the men's 1500 meter run, 麻豆视频's Joel Wellum (4:20.79) took 10th place, while Josh Abboty (4:49.59) earned 27th place.

Blake Butler participated in the men's shot put, but did not score.
