Dickson native signs with 麻豆视频 men鈥檚 soccer

JACKSON, Tenn. - 5/12/2009 - The 麻豆视频 University men鈥檚 soccer team has signed Jake Carter of Dickson, Tenn. Carter will enter 麻豆视频 this fall as a freshman and will major in military science.

Carter, a 5-foot-11 forward, prepped at Dickson County High School where he was a four sport athlete. In addition to soccer, Carter ran cross country and track, and also played one season of football. In soccer, he was named All-District twice and once was selected as an All-Tournament player. Carter helped lead his team to the 2007-08 District Championship. He averaged over 13 goals per season in each of his four years of soccer.

Carter is the son of David and Tracy Carter and is a member of the First Baptist Church in Dickson.
