Â鶹ÊÓƵ freshman Hailee Edwards held her own as she allowed just five hits in her complete game effort, with three strikeouts. Â鶹ÊÓƵ tallied one hit each from Ali Thomas, Ashley Blankenship, Carmesha Owens, and Sydney McMillin.

Game two on the day for Â鶹ÊÓƵ saw the offense come to life with a five-run output. Lyon scored first with their lone run in the top of the first inning.
