JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/28/2009 - The Â鶹ÊÓƵ University softball team finished third in the TranSouth Conference regular season standings. Â鶹ÊÓƵ (24-14) posted a 9-5 league record and will open the on Wednesday, April 29 in Pulaski, Tenn versus #6 seeded Lyon (Ark.) College at 12:00 p.m.
The tournament will be hosted by Martin Methodist College and will take place from Wednesday, April 29 through Friday, May 1. The winner will earn the league's automic bid to the NAIA Softball National Championships in Decatur, Ala.
