Station Camp standout signs with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ women's soccer

JACKSON, Tenn. - 4/15/2009 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University women's soccer team has signed of Gallatin, Tenn. to the program, beginning in the fall of 2009. Brimm will enter Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ as a freshman and will major in nursing.

Brandon Boylan, the head coach for the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ women's soccer program, says, "Christina is a great kid who is a natural leader both on and off the field. Christina is a very good defender, who is a natural left-footed player. She will come in and provide depth in our defense. We are pleased that she has chosen Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ to continue her education and soccer endeavors."

Brimm, a 5-foot-2 defender, prepped at Station Camp High School where she played four seasons of soccer. While there, she helped lead her team to district and region titles in 2005, 2007, and 2008. Brimm also played for the Metros '91 club team, helping that team to the 2008 Tennessee State Title. In high school, Brimm was a four-time All-County and All-District player, three-time All-District Tournament, and was named the Defensive MVP as a sophomore. She also was named Team Captain in both her junior and senior seasons.

Off the field, Brimm was a Wendy's High School Heisman State Finalist, Tennessee Honors Program, salutatorian, class president, and Girl's State representative. She was also a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club.

Brimm is the daughter of Mike and Bev Brimm and is a member of the First Baptist Church in Hendersonville.
