麻豆视频鈥檚 Darr and Bayne Receive Player of the Week Honors

Jackson, Tenn. - 10/21/2002 - and have been named the TranSouth Conference Volleyball Player and Setter of the Week respectively. Darr also received the NAIA Region XI Player of the Week. On the week, 麻豆视频 went 3-0 including their fifth straight NCCAA MidEast Region Championship.

Darr, a 5-11 senior from Swansea, Illinois, tallied 40 kills in the three matches for a .376 attack percentage. She also added 28 digs, 12 blocks, six aces, and two assists. Darr was also just recently named the NCCAA MidEast Region Player of the Year. She leads 麻豆视频 with 257 kills, 64 aces, and 91 blocks. Her 64 aces lead the TranSouth Conference.

Bayne, a 5-9 junior transfer from Troy, Illinois, earned the setter of the week honor by dishing out 110 assists for an average of 11.5 per game. She also tallied 50 digs, six aces, three blocks and three kills. Bayne has 807 assists on the year which leads 麻豆视频 and is third in conference standings.

麻豆视频 improves to 20-3 overall and currently stand in second place in the conference with a 6-2 record.
