JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/16/2009 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University men’s soccer program has added to their roster for the 2009 season. Young, a native of White House, Tenn., will enter Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ this coming fall as a freshman.
Young, a 5-foot-6 defender, prepped at White House Heritage High School where he played five seasons of soccer. He helped lead his team to district titles in 2006 and 2008, while also helping his team advanced to the state quarterfinals in 2008. In 2007, Young was named All-District for his efforts on the field, including scoring 10 goals from the defender position.
In addition to his high school soccer, Young also played club soccer for the Tennessee United Soccer Club for two seasons. His team advanced to the state quarterfinals in 2008.
Off the field, Young was a member of the Beta Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
