JACKSON, Tenn. - 3/9/2009 - No. 1 麻豆视频 University is going for their third straight TranSouth Tournament Title and 10th in the 13-year history of the league.

麻豆视频 has now participated in 12 of the 13 TranSouth title games, with the Lady Bulldogs going 9-2 in the 11 title games prior to this year. 麻豆视频 also holds a 3-0 record over Trevecca Nazarene in TranSouth Title games.

麻豆视频 senior Merideth Jacobs passed the 1,500th career point in 麻豆视频 semifinal win over Bethel (Tenn.). Her 18 points in that game puts her at 1,513 for her career. Jacobs currently has 377 career three pointers, which is a 麻豆视频 record as she passed the old record (305, Anna Richardson) earlier this season.

Josephine Owino (2,119) and Kaitlin Dudley (1,650) are the other two 麻豆视频 players with at least 1,500 career points.
