麻豆视频's Truvillion Named NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - 2/17/2009 - of 麻豆视频 University has been selected as the NAIA Division I Men鈥檚 Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 9-15.

Truvillion, a 6-foot-8 junior forward from Lansing, Mich., compiled two more double-doubles last week for the No. 5-ranked 麻豆视频 Bulldogs. In the 92-67 road win at No. 15 Cumberland (Tenn.), Greg went for 27 points on 11-for-16 shooting and grabbed 10 rebounds. He then finished with 24 points, 15 rebounds and five assists in the six-point win over Lambuth (Tenn.) for his seventh double-double of the year and third straight.

Overall on the week, he averaged 25.5 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 2.0 blocks and 1.0 steal all while shooting 60 percent (18-for-30) from the field. He also connected on 15-of-17 free throw attempts.

Greg averages 8.9 rebounds per game this year, which ranks 12th among NAIA statistical leaders and shoots 58.2 percent, which is good for 14th. For more information on the NAIA statistical rankings, visit www.naia.org.
