Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ Defeats Freed-Hardeman to Remain Perfect in Conference Play

Jackson, Tenn. - 10/3/2002 - The Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ University Lady Bulldogs remained perfect in TranSouth Conference play with a 3-0 (30-24, 30-12, 30-20)win over Freed-Hardeman University. Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ improves to 14-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference. Freed-Hardeman falls to 7-7 overall and 2-4 in conference play.

Lindsay Stalhberg and Jennie Glassey led Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ with 12 kills each. Andrea Darr added nine and Crystal Abel added eight. Erin Bayne tallied 33 assists along with three service aces. Stahlberg also tallied three service aces.

For Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, things get a little tougher as they will travel to Cleveland, Tenn. on Saturday, October 5 to battle the defending conference champions, Lee University. Then on Tuesday the eighth, the Lady Bulldogs go to Pulaski to play Martin Methodist.
