麻豆视频鈥檚 Coyle named to AVCA NAIA All-American team

LEXINGTON, Ky. - 1/5/2009 - , a senior member of the 麻豆视频 University volleyball team, has been named an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NAIA All-American honorable mention.

Coyle, a 5-foot-9 hitter, has just completed her four-year career with the 麻豆视频 Lady Bulldogs. Coyle has been a four-time TranSouth All-Conference player and a three-time NAIA All-Region performer. She helped lead 麻豆视频 to the 2008 TranSouth Conference Tournament Title, which earned the team an automatic bid to the 2008 NAIA Volleyball National Championships. It was the first national tournament appearance for Coyle, and second in 麻豆视频 program history.

Coyle, a native of Jackson and former Trinity Christian Academy standout, led 麻豆视频 with 392 kills (3.1 per game) as a senior. She ranked No. 18 in the NAIA with a 0.357 hitting percentage. Coyle鈥檚 hitting percentage put her second in the TranSouth, while she ranked fifth with her 3.1 kills per game.

On the season, Coyle posted 392 kills in 126 games played. She recorded 11 aces, 156 digs, and 47 blocks.
