麻豆视频 women鈥檚 basketball ranked No. 1 in NAIA preseason poll

JACKSON, Tenn. - 10/27/2008 - The 麻豆视频 University Lady Bulldog basketball team is No. 1 in the NAIA preseason poll released on Monday by the national office. 麻豆视频 received eight of the 11 first place votes, with Vanguard getting the other three. Vanguard, the defending national champion, was the only team to defeat 麻豆视频 in 2007-08 season.

This ranking comes a week after 麻豆视频 was tabbed as the top team in the TranSouth Conference. 麻豆视频 also received the No. 1 spot in the NAIA Victory Sports Network poll.

麻豆视频 returns four starter from last season鈥檚 team that posted a perfect 29-0 regular season and finished 35-1. 麻豆视频 advanced to their fourth straight NAIA National Tournament Semifinal round, which included back-to-back national titles in 2005 and 2006.
